Griggs Engineering worked with Jonathan Linam Jr. Architects to help convert this restaurant into a new Georgetown retail shop. With Historic and Old Georgetown Board consideration, we helped restore this heavily modified store front back to its original 1800s character, with a modern touch. Old growth heavy timber framed much of the interior 3 floors and we worked with the architect to preserve the framing while opening up the 2nd floor into a well-lit atrium space.
