Located in Washington’s Logan Circle neighborhood, this structure is a 10-unit condo. A historic building, the architect’s design stayed true to the historic front façade. As a historic requirement, Griggs Engineering design this structure with new TJI joist integrated with the existing remaining framing.

 

The buildings proposed changes increased its weight so an underpinning regime was designed for the building to accommodate the new addition.
